When and where is the Slow Down Move Over Brevard event?

A: The 3rd Annual Slow Down Move Over Brevard event will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Lowe’s in Titusville.

Is admission free for spectators?

 A: Yes! Admission is FREE for spectators. 

What is the purpose of the event?

A: The event is designed to raise awareness for Florida’s Slow Down, Move Over Law and help educate the community on the importance of protecting roadside workers, first responders, and emergency personnel.

Who is hosting the event?

A: The event is hosted by iGo Now Roadside.

What charity does the event support?

A: This year’s event will benefit the International Towing & Recovery Museum Survivor Fund.

What can I expect to see at the event?

A: Guests can enjoy:

Are pets allowed?

 A: Yes! Pets are welcome as long as they are ON A LEASH and owners clean up after them. 

Will there be food available?

 A: Yes! Food vendors will be on site throughout the event. 

Where should attendees park?

 A: A parking map will be available on the website, and parking attendants will direct guests upon arrival. 

Is parking free?

 A: Yes, parking is free. 

Will there be designated parking for vendors, show vehicles, and spectators?

A: Yes. Parking attendants will direct everyone to the appropriate areas.

How much does it cost to enter a vehicle?

A: Vehicle registration is $25. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, but same-day registration will be available if space remains.

What vehicle categories are available?

A: Awards will be presented in categories including:

  • Military
  • Unique Vehicle
  • Towing
  • Classic Car
  • People's Choice

How does vehicle voting work?

A: Voting will be available on the website the day of the event.

When does voting open?

A: Voting opens on Saturday, October 10, the day of the event.

What time should registered vehicles arrive?

A: Vehicle check-in and setup is from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM.

Where do registered vehicles check in?

A: A parking/setup map will be available on the website, and registered participants will also receive instructions by email.

Is same-day vehicle registration available?

A: Yes, if space is available.

What is the registration deadline?

A: The preferred registration deadline is October 3, but registrations may still be accepted on event day if space permits.

Are there any vehicle requirements?

A: No special requirements.

Can I register more than one vehicle?

A: Yes! Each vehicle must be registered separately and have its own registration fee.

What is the Lock-Out Competition?

A: The Lock-Out Competition is a fun, live challenge where professional roadside service technicians and first responders compete to see who can gain entry into a locked vehicle without keys in the fastest time.


To ensure a fair competition, all participants will use the same Big Stiffy Lock-Out Kit, generously provided by JB Tow, the sponsor of this year's Lock-Out Competition. Competitors must rely on their skill, technique, and speed while using the standardized equipment.


The objective is to safely gain entry into the locked vehicle without causing any damage, demonstrating the professionalism and expertise required during real-world roadside assistance and emergency response situations.


Whether you're in the towing industry, a first responder, or simply curious about the techniques used to access locked vehicles, this competition is always one of the most exciting and crowd-favorite attractions at the event.

Can my business participate as a vendor?

A: Yes! Local businesses, organizations, and vendors are welcome to register.

Where can I register as a vendor?

A: Registration is available through the event website.

Do vendors need to register before the event?

A: Yes. Vendors must register in advance to reserve their space.

What is the vendor registration deadline?

A: October 3, 2026.

What time should vendors arrive?

A: Vendor setup is from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM.

Where do vendors check in?

A: A setup map will be posted on the website, and registered vendors will receive instructions by email.

What equipment should vendors bring?

A: Vendors should bring everything needed for their booth, including tables, chairs, tents, and displays.

Is electricity available?

A: No.

Are there requirements for food vendors?

A: Yes. Food vendors must have all required state food licenses and insurance.
